Classes are optional??

This is definitely the kind of school that I think anyone would not mind to attend. BFS was the first democratic school to open in New York City in 30 years. It is a departure from what we have come to expect from schooling and education. BFS is a model of direct democracy, inclusion, diversity and equality. The state build this school based on an inspiration adopted from A. S. Neill’s Summerhill School in England. Traditionally, I would not put the word ‘school’ and ‘fun’ at the same time but after reviewing this school, I would say that this school is definitely the definition of fun. There, the students can be teachers and classes are optional. Like seriously?? OPTIONAL!! They can get together and share experiences and knowledge that they had learn from somewhere else. How awesome does that sound, right? VERY AWESOME. I would love to attend this kind of school if you ask me.

From the picture we can see that the students are having a sharing session together with the teachers. With this kind of activity, I am sure that the students will be able to improve their communication skills as well as their confident level.
