This school situated in Virginia, United States. The structure of this school is unique because it was built in the field and uses many solar panels and insulations. The students are taught about conserving energy appreciate the nature more. When Terraset opened its doors in February, 1977, the energy conscious design of the school was viewed as the wave of the future. There are even some visitors that came to Terraset from all over the world to see this experiment in solar power.

The other aspects of Terraset's energy conscious design continue to provide savings in energy costs every day. For me, this type of exposure is very useful for creating responsible youths in the future. Today, Terraset is the most energy-efficient school in the country. If our county is able to do this for every school, we would save a lot of electrical energy and use our money for other important things. But, that is less likely to do as the cost of building this also quite expensive.
