Situated in state of Colorado, this school values the weather by focusing in outdoors activities rather than spending time jailed in classrooms. The Watershed School focuses primarily on the wonders, enjoyment, and fascinating science of the natural environment as an action-based response to the negative messages inherent in curriculum that focuses heavily on topics of environmental destruction. To them, outdoors activity will provide immediate experiences for the students. There, the teachers make themselves as involved with the activities as they can. For example, they play Frisbees, clean the field and doing experiments using the nature products. For me, I think that this type of school is definitely the one to choose if you are up for hands-on experiences to prep yourself for your future jobs.
